Master Jazz Class
This is a classic jazz class that explores traditional and contemporary styles in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Classes begin with a warm-up which focuses on technique, flexibility, coordination and strength, followed by progressions across the floor, center work and combinations. Suggested for those with some movement or dance experience.
Somatic Mindfulness Movement
Movement can be our secret ingredient to deepening our connection with our body. This low-impact dance exercise class is rooted in elements of somatic movement. In this class, we will use basic dance movements, stretching, and restorative yoga poses to release the stress and tension in the body. You’ll learn slow, gentle, relaxing self-care movements suitable for all ages, dances, and fitness levels. You will create a deeper connection with yourself throughout each exercise and increase your internal awareness. This class will help uncover and heal trauma in the body. So join me for the Somatic Mindfulness Movement class as we work with the nervous system to relieve pain, release muscular tension, improve posture and movement, and promote healing throughout the body.
